get an air compressor and blow off your coils, even wash them with a hose if possible. Outside freezers really should be kept in a cabinet, helps them last longer.


ETA-does it seem like it's even kicking on? unless there's a leak you shouldn't be losing freon.

My defrost timer has failed twice in ten years on my Frigidaire freezer. Replaced it last week. Seam to last about 5 years.

I bought this freezer alarm last week from amazon for 10 bucks. It works but the alarm is not very loud but my freezer is by the garage door so I walk by it multiple times a day and would hear the alarm.

Find your defrost timer and turn it a couple of ticks with a coin or screw driver to get it back on the freeze cycle for the time being. It cycles to defrost every 12 hours and gets stuck on defrost.
