Is the bride to be from the SB area? If so it's not a destination wedding, some may have to fly there but its a destination wedding when everyone attending and the bride and groom fly someplace. My most recent destination wedding was Jamaica.

Now when I got married in Jersey it was tough for a lot of my friends to fly up. All my groomsmen came up from New Orleans and one from California. Some of the guys shared rooms as some aren't married and most stayed up here for a few extra days to go into NYC for the St Patrick's day parade.
I also was 41 when I got married so most of my friends are in a decent financial place
