No.
First Williams is a corner and Lynch is a strong safety. Second, Williams was easily one of the top corners of his generation. The only one of his contemporaries whom I would immediately take over him is Deion Sanders.
I have nothing against Lynch, but to argue that he should be in over Williams is absurd.

This is correct. Aeneas Williams was a better player than John Lynch. Woodson and Sanders are the only two of his time who were arguably better. Superb player who spent much of his career playing for a horrid franchise.
