re: Why doesn't Louisiana really have it's own barbecue culture?

Maybe i don't know great bbq, but i've eaten bbq at a few places in Texas and my favorite place to eat bbz is still Couyon's in Port Allen. Gross place, sides are awesome and i love the pulled pork and brisket. And i don't eat it with sauce.
