I've eaten at Maspero's and at Stanley's in the Quarter in the last six months.
I'd recommend Maspero's again. I'd warn you that Stanley's was overrated based on their location...and I've eaten at Muriel's across the street and their food was very good. So not everyone is skating on reputation there near Jackson Square.
Just not a fan...seemed like mass-produced and not a lot of thought in the cooking or the meal in general.
