NOLA is different today than it was pre-Katrina. More money, more disposable income, more kids, more families from out of town, more people that want a fun, kid-friendly experience.
The people who ran Jazzland had a good idea and terrible skills. Six Flags came in, did some good things, but made the park look like every other regional Six Flags park.
A reboot that brought back the Louisiana-centric theming could work. They would have to set the prices high enough to both keep out the troublemakers AND pay their employees enough so they are not competing with WalMart and McDonalds for employees.
We had season passes for Jazzland/Six Flags in the past. I would do it again.
