You cut all of that? Looks like you gonna get fired.
I have done my share of time cutting greens (even killed half of one when a hydraulic hose busted).

Our grass breeder had me go take divots with my 8 and 9 iron last year when he wanted to test the recovery for one of his experimental grasses. It was pretty fun.

We have a full time foreman who works at the shop and an undergrad intern who cuts most of them. I only cut mine.
It's an old picture. Towards the end, those are now putting greens. At the time, they were different trials.

I was real close to doing Turf Mgmt at State. Part of me wishes I had done it. Life decisions and whatnot.

...help me here. Are those the weights on the bottom? And just a disclaimer so you kind of get my knowledge on products, brands, etc.- I've played with just hand me down and borrow putters my whole life and once I got that scotty it felt as smooth as a baby's bottom but I don't know shite about it. I know it didn't have those circle weights on the bottom though.

Here is one of the NTEP (National Turf Evaluation Program) putting green trials. We planted this summer.
You can see that zoysia takes a little longer to establish than bermuda and paspalum.

I'd do that anyway

Did you see the Rose Bowl grass? Bred at Mississippi State.
We also have released MS-Supreme which is an ultradwarf bermudagrass putting green cultivar, similar to Champion, MiniVerde, and TifEagle. MSU is using it, as well as a few around the Mississippi area.

Landmass should concentrate more on fixing roads than growing grass. I swear putting out the cones is the extent of their DOT budget

I always read this as the golf version. Frustrating at times

It's true though. Never have to worry about those "speeding fines doubled when workers present" signs.

Either you or ileartlsu could probably answer this then, when did SC not have those circle weights in the bottom of the head? And do you think I could still find one of those?
