Seriously, though, it's people like you who go most underappreciated. People will bitch like crazy if fairways and greens aren't perfect, but I don't see a whole lot of compliments handed out to the grounds guys when things are nice.

Good to hear...can't wait to see the new zeta line in the Big Bertha when it comes out next month. I've got my eye on that driver.

I'm a 3, so I can hold my own. I'm not going to impress too many people with long drives or pin seeking iron shots, but I'll get it up and down more often than not.

I've really just gotten to the point where I take a real interest in the more technical things of the game, like all of this driver shaft talk going on in here. There's really nothing wrong with my Titleist 910 D3 with the stock Diamana 'ahina "made for Titleist" shaft I have now. I hit it plenty good enough for my game, but I'm starting to like to tinker with things trying to see what else is out there and would help. I'm really interested to see what this new Big Bertha Alpha is all about...that looks like it could help me bomb it out there to 275 if they really can reduce the spin like they claim.

Are you my alter? This describes me to a T except I am a good iron player and my short game/putting is average at best.

We've had a few asst. supers come talk and visited some courses. Most of them say they are appreciated by the majority of the membership, it's the vocal minority that gives them hell. Just like most stuff I suppose.

Everyone gets complaints around April though. "Augusta Syndrome". "Well, I saw on the Masters where their greens were rolling a 12. We should try that out."

every damn year!!!

We actually did that one year, because we had about 10 people say they wanted faster greens. Once they realized what happens when an average golfer plays on greens that fast is quite hilarious!

One of my favorite gifs

I didn't that one time at my apartment after I came home from a test. Bunch of roommates and friends over smoking some stuff and most got a good laugh. Ones that didn't know what I was doing started AD and got hooked

Y'all had some fast greens last year for the plainsmen. #4 was especially brutal.

That bronze-looking scotty cameron looks like a putter I borrowed from a guy about 2 years ago, but he had to take it back. Played it for about 6 months and I mean I've never felt so good with a putter in my life. Been wanting to get one ever since that day he took it back.

I'd rather faster over slow. I can adjust to fast. Slow gives me fits.
