only slump? pretty sure he had a pretty big midseason slump too.

and yes thats my cause for concern batting him 4th. he's too streaky imo.

he also doesnt have very good plate discipline.

I think he's a decent hitter, but he's more of a 6 hole type of hitter. Unfortunately he may be forced into the 4 because we dont have anyone better.

I think you may be overreacting a bit. Every baseball player of all time is streaky.

clean up hitters are all pretty streaky if you think about it.

I recall Ibarra being maybe our most consistent hitter last year, the last 6 games of the season excluded.

And news flash, baseball players are streaky. Our best hitter coming back that will be a first round draft pick when eligible is streaky. The GOAT (Puig) is streaky.
