The 6.0 in a chevy 3/4 ton is relatively unchanged in that last several years.Its proven to be a solid towing platform for those not wanting or needing a diesel.I dont know much about the 6.2 other than it was in the sportier trucks and an aluminum block.

The 6.2 is designed for horsepower more than reliability and longevity. It's a limited-duty engine.
