Honestly, I don't care that she did it, but I do care that she did it on camera. As much as they feed off public perception, you would think they would be aware that this isn't the most appropriate way to act. But, then again, when your regular guests at your home include Hollywood celebrities, rappers and professional athletes, I'm sure your sense of reality is heavily skewed, especially when people are telling you you're they greatest First Family ever to grace 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and you can do no wrong.

Andrew Jackson used to throw wild keggers at the White House and all kinds of valuables were destroyed by the thousands of random roughnecks he brought in. Many people seemed to love that about Andrew Jackson, that he was relatable, a common man of the people. But now the first lady dunks on a toy basketball goal and gives a camera a funny look and *GASP* HOW DARE SHE?! Might the amount of melanin she has in her skin be what you're really up in arms about?
Idiot.
Andrew Jackson got elected because people needed a "common man" back then.
I'll give it to you that America arguably needed a "common man" of Obama in his first term, but no more. People liked Jackson because that's what they needed then. We don't need that now. We want fixes, not buffoonery.

I can say what I say because I don't like Andrew Jackson either or his White House keggers. I think I'm put off by this gif though, not because the first family is having fun, but because they suck at running the country and they're having fun

yeah, that's the same as Ray Allen, Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James. Hanging out with NBA stars. Just living the life of the common man.
FYI, I don't have a problem with it, but don't compare an ex president partying with rednecks to this current administration on the basis of the "common man".

It doesn't matter who is President. Republican, Democrat, Black, White. They are people. So they like to have fun. I like when government officials do this kind of stuff because it reminds you that they are people. They come off as relatable and personable.

I have no problem with it because it's their home. And their guests. Yes they represent the USA, but their guests are known for playing a game. Games are fun. So having fun is acceptable. In other words, calm your tits.
