I have not been to a game in a season or two, but the stadium is nice (does not have the charm of the old one, but what can you do). There are some fun dive bars right across the street, but I would not venture more than a block or so away from the stadium (and really, there is no need to). The stadium club bars, etc. at the stadium are nice, but I've never had the steak there (I always enjoy getting the hot dogs).

Like others have mentioned, I would just subway it.

Yeah - I would actually do Strip House in the villge and then hop on the express train from union square.

It's my personal favorite. Otherwise you could go to Keane's chop house near MSG and take the B/D train to the stadium (also express). Keane's is more historic but I like strip house. You will get raped with a bad steak in the stadium.

But it's your money I don't give a frick what you do with it.

I find that the only difference between the two stadiums is that the new one doesn't smell like Urine yet....
