yes

Sam went in the 3rd for starters.
And yes, BH is earning his paycheck and doing a very good job developing talent. He can't make kids stay.

Not so certain gw would be a day 1 starter, actually I doubt he would be. Contribute yes, dominate and start, not so much.

Yes Brick is earning his money.
Happy to have him.

FFS...he had ONE DEFENSIVE LINE that wasn't great. This past year. That's it. 2012's line was people having ridiculous expectations and Montgomery being lazy as you see in the NFL. You can't coach lazy. He's lost a ton of defensive lineman the past 2 year so naturally they're not going to perform. Freak just wasn't that good. He could never push guys like Brockers or Logan aside and you see why. They're high pick NFL players. How many people does he have to send to the NFL to "earn his paycheck"?
Keep in mind this dude had to come in and coach up a mess of a defensive line thanks to the waste of space that was here before him. He's also a great recruiter and is largely why we've been getting these studs. LSU's 2011 defensive line is one of the most dominant ones I've seen in my lifetime. The fact of the matter was losing Brockers was a bigger loss than anyone wants to mention. He made that entire defensive line better and that's largely why Ming/Montg had good 2012 seasons...just not up to 2011 standards.
Everybody on that 2011 line became a high NFL pick. Why do people keep asking this stupid question? If anything, he's one of the more underpaid coaches on the staff. Stud was making more than him. Think of that for awhile.

How many DL and DE have we put in the league the last 3 years? Like 10?
I think he is doing ok.

Who exactly has he developed to the point where they produced consistently on the field in the past few yrs? Yes they had talent to get drafted but actually producing on the field not so much. I wouldn't say he is developing players at a high rate. Just my take on it. Our D-line has been a weak point the last few years.

For people to suggest coaches aren't doing their job based on people in this particular family being fickle is extremely ridiculous.

You are fricking stupid. End yourself.
Did you magically forget how good Brockers, Logan and Mingo were? I remember Mingo use to get thrown around on run plays all game in 2010 because he was a RS freshman. By the time he developed by 2012 teams couldn't run to the outside on his side very often due to his athleticism speed. The dude was a top 10 NFL pick and Montgomery would've been in the 1st if he knew how to shut his mouth. Brockers was a DOMINANT athletic DT and Logan was always consistent.
You people are ridiculous.
