Head up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park

This is good. Drive up through Boulder Canyon. The destruction from the floods is pretty wild to see. Estes Park is cool and of course RMNP is beautiful.

I like these ideas about hiking and white water rafting...that is what I am hoping to get into.

Bringing the wife too...should we try and stay somewhere other than downtown Denver for the first few days or just rent a car?

Get a breakfast burrito at the Denver Diner. I ate there about 5 1/2 years ago and I still can't get over how good it was.
I need to head back there this summer. A good friend of mine has a place in Edgewater, just outside the city, with a huge basement apartment. Could see him, tour Oskar Blues, check out the scenery.
