I posted this in another thread and I think we have a shot at filling 25 with great players. Yes we only have a puncher's chance on some but here is what I think. Assuming we lose Clark we need 8.
1. Kelly, Jr-good shot
2. Dupre-great shot
3. Valentine-good shot
4. Speaks-good shot
5. Carter-tough pull but there is a shot. Fits Haley's m.o. of pulling big out of stater based on LSU rep and his relationship with recruit.
6. Jackson-good shot
7. Young-tough pull by all recent accounts and we slow played him so I think we have ground to make up but even after 1/2 I do not think we are a long shot on any LA kid that we get to visit.
8. Porter-better shot than people think. Lost his Texas recruiter and he is visiting and we have a good shot to get him and Dupre.
That leaves, Rushing, Granier, Olaka, M. McDowell, Leialaimatafou all long shots for one reason or another to fill in any that we miss up there. Sure some of these are longshots, but they all have visited or will visit with the exception of Lealaimatafou who has an offer but no visit confirmed yet. Granier is interesting because although he may not have an offer, he is visiting and a new OL coach may evaluate him differently that our old coach.

I think we get 5 of your first 8, but I am relying on consensus recruitnik thought, admittedly.
Getting 3 more decent prospects at that point would not be hard.
And it also depends on who we get in those top 8. E.g., if we miss on Malachi (yikes!) we may take both Rushing and Holland/Porter.
Either way, I'd be surprised if we aren't sitting at 25 by end of Feb.
