So...I am not an OB baller...need to wrap my jeep cherokee with some new rubber asap...this jeep is a daily driver to my job 10 minutes from home...it gets a lot of use in the woods and the beach...
I'm looking at going with some cheaper asian tires..i.e. the Nankang Mudstar or the Kenda Klever M/T...
any thoughts? below are some pics
Nankang
Kenda

they are cheap...found em on Ebay...if my dream comes true and I get a new truck next fall, Jeep will be used only for playing...so dont wanna go with super expensive tires...

never heard of either, but as a DD the second one probably suits you better.

Maxxis makes a cheap mud tire, but they don't last very long.

The second will be better for sand but the first is better for mud. hope that helps

me too...they look way more aggressive...I just dont know shite about em...I had some Kenda ATV tires on my Rancher and loved em...so I trust the Kenda more...but I do like that tread on the Nankang

I's go with the Nankangs. Same tread design as the ol Mud Brute. Great tires!!

Jeeps are so light that you can't get away with crap tires. Not sure if they still make them, but the buckshots were pretty cheap and pretty awesome. Also the mastercraft courser mt

gotcha...and yeah i would likely get more miles out of the Kendas...that tread on the Nankang might wear out quick on asphalt...
