The reason I keep saying it is because, in HS classes, when the question was raised as to whether evolution was exclusive of a creator, the answer was in each instance an almost verbatim, legalistic: "Science is evidence based. There is no evidence of God in the process. We will not address God or religion in this class."
That seems like an acceptable answer

The statement was not that "Evolution does not exclude the possibility of God.' The answer was not "Scientists are not sure." The answer was basically "there is no evidence of God." That was the answer on multiple occasions.
Just out of curiosity...what exactly are you doing sitting in on high school science classes? Seems like a rather odd thing to do don't you think?

Not that it is any of my business, but who saw your patients today?
I've mostly been in a hammock on the porch enjoying the waves. A little too cold to get out on the beach, but a gorgeous day otherwise.

It is amazing how every little thing that they find then changes the whole perspective and now they think something different. 20 years from now, we will find out that it wasn't what they thought it was and well, nevermind, but hey! That's Science and anyone who doesn't believe it is an idiot.

That's Science and anyone who doesn't believe it is an idiot.
In this case what it is, is Science.
I'll leave "idiot" assessments to others.
However, regardless of belief, it would seem folks should not reject out of hand that which they can see and touch.
The OP is such an example.
