I agree. John Folse doesn't even sound cajun to me. But about a year or so ago, I was in Target and I heard him talking on the next aisle and I immediately knew it was him. He sounded exactly like he does on tv. So if its an act, he does it full time.

There are variations of Cajun accents, just like any other language. That is the way Folse speaks all the time, nothing fake about it.
