Even if you get the flu, the vaccine makes it less severe. That being said, I didn't get the shot. I have a severe needle phobia.

The shot actually doesn't hurt
Tetanus....that fricker hurts
Menactra(one for meningitis)....HURTS
Flushot.....didn't even feel it
And I had no soreness or fever or an symptoms after getting it. I've had minor aches in previous years but the last 2 none whatsoever.

Is a person who didn't get the shot or the flu considered in any statistics?
