Recoil charts are great but they ignore a huge factor in felt recoil which is the fit of the gun.

A .308 that fits well will be much more pleasant to shoot than a .243 that doesn't fit at all.

Ding ding ding we have a winner. I've shot some youth rifles that brought the pain. Fit is way too overlooked when it comes to rifles
