Looking through my stack of CC and I have a few that I haven't used in forever. I have a Sam's club CC (I use Costco now) and another from Synchrony bank - which I haven't used in 3 years and don't plan on using it again.
Should I close these cards or keep them open?

If they don't have fees, it would be unlikely to harm you to keep them open. If you make a small purchase every 3-4 months or set up small autobill/payment on them, you'll ensure they report to CC agencies
The Sam's club card should get you 5x on gas which should be attractive though
