While this hire looks terrible from the outside, his recruiting alone will make up for his douchiness and laughability.

The responses are about what I expected. The Sabaniets think it's a good hire b/c Saban did it. The rest agree its at least suspect.
To me the guy is now damaged goods. So to talk about his recruiting is funny. When he was at UT he hadn't burned anyone in the open yet. Now he's got stink all over him IMO. It's the recent past and everyone knows he snuck out on them after lying and being a giant prick. All other SEC schools will have an easy time working against his huge lack of credibility.
