Bama and Ole Miss will be decent but no where near enough to make up what you lost on the other 5 duds.

This sentiment here is what I don't get. You aren't "losing" anything. The tickets cost what they cost, and if no one pays it, there will be no secondary market to get cheaper tickets.

I have a question for all you season ticket holders that share the mindset that you are "investing" your money and should be able to get it all back on the secondary market. Do y'all think when you buy a brand new car you are "losing out" because you could sell that car second hand for the same price you paid for it?

The money y'all pay each year goes to ensure you are guaranteed the same tickets for as many years as you are willing to pay. That doesn't mean you'll get your money back in the secondhand market, and you shouldn't. The buyer if your tickets isn't getting the same product you do.
