Let me get this straight.

You're mad that you don't have to pay taxes for services you receive? BR city is subsidizing St George in this regard. They chose to give St George a free ride.

The alternative would have been to cut off the bus routes at the city limits, or to have no routes at all.

Perhaps St. George would've liked a say in the matter.

FWIW, that tax was little more than a crony money grab. I still see the same CATS buses all over town with only one or two passengers.

And what happens a little over a year after the tax passes? CATS director forced to step down over unaccounted for funds.

It's not a free ride, but it's certainly a cheap ride.
