Glad you got your buck! He's certainly a nice one.
Don't give up on that 280 yet. It's as good a deer hunting round as there is. You just need to change to a sturdier bullet.

Yea it's losing its jacket. Just talked to a fried that had that prob with a 270 and he said he shot the Federal 130g and it made a world of difference. Problem is I don't know how to test results without shooting deer and I don't shoot but one or two a year. Will take me 20 years to find the right one
