It's pretty incredible. They break the tibia and separate it slightly. Then they put screws in the tibia that come out of her leg. Everyday we have to turn the screws slightly to separate the bone. New bone grows in the space. It will give her 2" of length.

I actually saw a doccumentary on this procedure...pretty damn amazing...

I know you are worried sick, but kids do unbelieveably well with this kind of thing...ten years from now, it will all just be a memory and your daughter will be better than new...
