I don't fault the kids for leaving but I'd love it if a few didn't bail at the first opportunity.

We had 6 that could've left in 2011 but they stayed. These are the people that left at first opportunity last year:

Wing (a punter)
Simon
Ware (a RB in a stable of 5 who would have had 5 carries a game if he stayed)
Reid

Only 4 people left early last year.

All those guys could have theoretically gone the year before. I think the point he is trying to make is all those guys put in their 4 years here.

Or he could pull a Ciron Black and end up bouncing at Reggie's. Just never know

Black had knee issues well before his senior season. He had issues from his Freshman/Sophomore year on if I recall, although it wasn't really made public.

If they played one down any year, they lose their redshirt for that year. There are not that many good fifth year seniors coming back period on any team. We had 6 guys who could have left in 2011 (3 year rule), but came back for their fourth year. It is ridiculously selfish to ask all those good player to come back.

For instance, Mosley is on his fourth year here, McCarron his fifth. McCarron also didn't start til his 3rd year in.

I think that coming back is a great idea for J. Hill. Character issues seem to the main knock on him as no one doubts his talent. If he stays another year to help his team it will shine very favorably on him and he could become a first round choice. Time will tell.

I would estimate that Hill projects at best as a high third rounder and at worst a high fourth rounder. He could improved that next year (with a similar type season) to a low first rounder.

Gumbopot, I hate to be rude, but that's a significantly stupid post! If he has a similar type season his draft projection wouldn't change at all.
