How is this even fricking news? Chris Broussard and his "sources" are a joke.

Classic.

Sources say Clippers management also has had internal discussions about such a deal but that the clubs have not yet spoken to one another about a potential trade.
As of now, neither team is certain it would make an Anthony-for-Griffin trade, the sources said.
Classic.

Ball hog for a guy who can't shoot

Yea Clippers should be all over that

CP3 and Melo could be pretty scary

OP is right. The article is garbage.

I would trade Melo even for Peter Griffin at this point.

How so? Melo doesn't slash to the basket or come off screens. It would be CP3 bringing the ball up, dumping it to Melo, and then Melo doing jab steps for the next 15 seconds.

Melo is good but just a ball stopper.. I really don't know if he can ever win a championship unless he completely changes his game.

ESPN will do ANYTHING to keep the Knicks in the conversation.
God forbid they spend time talking about teams that actually deserve attention.

The most overused, cop-out word in the history of sports in the twenty first century ... Sources... Might as well be aliens

As a Pelican fan I hope this happens because that will be the final nail in The Clippers coffin. They will never will The Ship

I spend a lot of time watching the Clippers and I think they are playing pretty well...especially considering they are missing Redick.
That said, their biggest issue (besides losing playoff positioning due to Paul's injury) is they are really soft inside if they don't have Griffin and Jordan on the floor...and even they aren't exactly the toughest 4/5 in the league, although they are improved.

Yah, I wouldn't mind having Melo back in the western conference.. the dude is a serious cancer.

I have no idea why the Clippers would do this. They need to wait until the trade deadline and go for Kevin Love
