You clearly haven't paid attention to the other talent he's coached up while in UL.
Also, he lost to a team that went on to beat Baylor in a BCS bowl game. It's not like he lost to some scrubs.

Texas did the right thing by hiring a defense first coach who runs a balanced, predicated on the run offense. Strong is a great recruiter who can recruit the entire southeast and he's at Texas now! He'll have the horns ballin' fast.

Bottom line....Strong is not a good fit for the position......his personality does not fit Texas....he will become the Ty Willingham for Texas.
Dabo Swinney, Mike Gundy or Gary Patterson from TCU would have been better hires, not to mention some coaches with NFL coaching on their resumes.
