I find it hard to believe that ANY football staff, much less ones that are at programs such as LSU and have been doing this recruiting dance for as long as they have, would take the word of any of these kids and stop recruiting another because of such. They know better. If not, then THIS is a problem

It has been like this... it isn't new. The best thing a coach can go on is the words out of the recruits mouth. They hold conversations... its not like it is a one sentence silent. The game has been played like this for a long time and will continue to be that way even if the lies from players increase over time as the years go by. What else would be more dependable?

If Speedy did indeed do that, I hope he has a very Joe McKnight career. Never living up to expectations.
