TV never showed a replay. Gruden and Tirico thought it was a crappy penalty, especially since no warning was given.

I was wondering up in the stands too. I was watching the play clock and it was nearly at 0. I thought maybe Les tried to distract the time clock official so they didn't notice that the clock was well beyond 0 by the time we started the play.

they also assumed that the ref tripped on a player while running on the sideline. they usually don't give warnings for this because they are pissed and embarrassed. so, they just throw the hanky.

They eliminated the sideline warning rule a few years ago. Now, it's an automatic 5 yards for the first 2 infractions and 15 yards for each one after that.
