it's a shame, but I suspect he was "asked" to be uncommitted for ESPN's purposes. I don't want to think he did it for publicity himself, but it's possible.

If he re-commits to Bama, I think we'll know. And would explain why LSU has seemingly been standoffish. They smelled a rat; it's been going around for a while ESPN is driving some of this. I'm sure the coaches have gotten wind.

And before anyone asks, if you're a Jimmy or Shea... you're probably not going to investigate or report that rumor because ESPN will just take away your access. They hold all the cards- media access and players "moments".


ETA: sorry JJ, too many things don't add up. I've drifted from the "Hootie made a mistake" side. The tweet today was the final straw.
