Dumber Lance Stephenson.

I don't think Russ even knew he could do that

Yea that was awesome Russ Smith. Doesnt remind me of Lance Stephenson. More of a Kemba Walker IMO.

Great college bball game. Julius Randle is a monster. Young might be the 2nd best player on UKs team. Dude is silky smooth.

If I had to predict the top 5 in the NBA draft next year, right now:

1) Parker
2) Randle
3) Embiid
4) Wiggins
5) Exum/Young

55 seconds into the 2nd half, Anthony says "The intensity level has completely flipped"

Yea i agree with most of that. Would Embiid consider returning 1 more year?? Dude is the definition of raw. But the shot blocking Serge Ibaka type player has a high demand in the NBA, and is pretty rare.

I just think he would benefit a lot if he came back just 1 more season.

Why do you think he is the definition of raw? He is climbing up draft boards bc he is like a zillion times more polished than anyone thought

Yea im not saying hes not a top 10 pick in the draft or anything like that. But he is still raw. Only been playing basketball since 2011. Averaging 10pts and 7 rebs. Has improved as the season went on, but still has A LOT to learn. Not just for NBA standards, but for college guys too.

And hes climbing up draft boards because of his freakish ability to run and jump at his size, and the uncanny ability to block shots and be a factor on the D end. Its a rare skill set, even in todays NBA. But hes not climbing up the boards because hes "more polished than people thought". The potential for being a NBA star is there. No doubt about it. His ceiling is almost endless. But he also has a lot to learn.

The obvious comparison for Embiid is to Serge Ibaka. But look at what Ibaka did his 1st year in the NBA. Didnt do too much. And thats because he started playing basketball at like 15 and was extremely raw... same with Embiid. Yeah Serge drastically improved in his 2nd and def in his 3rd year. But he was still extremely raw his 1st year and some of his 2nd year.

Embiid is a top 10 pick in the draft no doubt, and most likely will be a top 5. But he could come back for 1 more year, make a huge jump in his game, and be a lock for the 1st or 2nd pick.

But i think hes extremely raw because he is in fact extremely raw. Doesnt mean hes not good or wont be a big pick. But he is extremely raw. And i think he could benefit from coming back 1 more year in both the mental and physical aspect of the game, but especially with the mental aspect.

Out of all the top prospects in college bball today, hes the 1 guy that would benefit the most if he returned for just 1 more year.

They've played like shite offensively in the 2nd. Randle being out is part of it but they're not moving the ball either.

You don't have to tell me about embiid. Ii have seen every minute he has played. He is Kansas' best player right now which is absurd to believe if you watched the duke game. Borderline unstoppable already. Only thing holding him back is foul trouble which has improved a little and will continue to do so.

Everyone knew about his footwork and athleticism from day 1 when he was projected lottery. He is now a top 10 lock bc he is more skilled than anyone thought and his learning curve is even better than anyone could have guessed. If he comes back, he is a lock for number 1, though, I do agree with that. Might go 1 this year

I think James Young needs to more than just move around the three point line and shoot. He could have a dirty offensive game.

So you ask me why I think hes raw.. then tell me i dont have to tell you about Embiid. Im so confused

Kids awesome. Never said anything like that at all. Just think he could benefit the most from coming back to college for 1 more year. May not improve his draft stock that much, but as a player in the mental aspect of the game he will be extremely improved.

I think we are on the exact same page and then arguing over semantics of raw vs. polished

I can't disagree especially since I selfishly want him back. He also will have very few people pushing him to the draft. His parents and family don't have a clue what that shite is even about.
