^^ But in a 9mm.
Or even better, get the M&P Shield in 9mm.
As a general rule, anyone who picks a mouse gun because it's "too uncomfortable" to carry a moderate-size weapon (Glock 19, M&P, HK, etc.), or because the moderate-sized weapons are "too big," is either (a) not serious about carrying, or (b) is an awfully good shot under stress.
I say "as a general rule" because there are folks with medical conditions that preclude carrying a moderate size gun. And I know a couple of my students who work in NPE's who are forced to carry a mouse gun for one work shift/day.
Of course there are always the coeds and soccer moms who are too hung up on their sense of fashion style to make accommodations for carrying a moderate-size gun. I think their priorities and sense of reality are warped.
Outside of the folks with medical or work restrictions, there are really few (if any) people who have a good reason to pack a poodle shooter.
Clint Smith has had a lot to say on this topic (Google is a good search tool -- he doesn't post on this board).
Essentially the .380, .32, .25, and .22LR mouse gun carriers either (a) have a highly inflated opinion of their "on demand" shooting skills, or (b) place a really low value on their lives, or (c) believe all the internet BS about how the meth tweakers, bath salt smokers, crack cocaine abusers, gang bangers and psychopaths are gonna run as soon as you flash that little .380
But that's just my interwebz $.02 worth.
