We have never cleaned it. Definitely getting our money's worth. My brother and brother in law live in the same neighborhood so we went in 1/3s to buy it and it moves around from house to house depending on who is cooking. When this one gives up we are gonna get a bigger one

I do open the door every now and then because we don't have the glass front. And I'll spritz with some apple juice when I do open it

What is there to break? It's just a heating element that would go out. The seal can be replaced too, right?
