That's what I am wondering. I can't remember who it was that was explaining it. It was one of the regular guys who covers LSU and is on a lot with Hanigriff. I do know that Hani and Jimmy Ott were literally shocked when he explained this loophole. They in essence said the 25 limit is null and void. A school could really take advantage of it. Of course the 85 limit is still there. But it is a way around the rule that was put into place to stop Houston Nutt from signing 40 players in one class. He said the rule was put in to allow plays to lock up a school and to stop a kid from being dropped on signing day by the school. Said it was never intended for a player to sign financial aid with multiple schools.
