Update to the latest firmware via iTunes instead of doing it over Wi-Fi. There's some nerd stuff going on with it creating issues for people that updated OTA (over the air).

I'm downloading the latest update and me being in BFE is making this an all-day event.

That sucks LewDawg! I would've reminded you if I would've thought about it, but I'm stuck on trying to figure out when the MS will be ready for the 5s.

Make sure redownload it if you updated OTA in the past.

Damn I did the same mess up as you. How do I get it off this screen and how can I re-update via iTunes?
