Any good ios7 compatible themes out yet?
Also, I downloaded bitesms and I go to open and it just immediately closes, not allowing me to do anything.

What version are you trying to use? You should be using version 8.0.8 I believe.

So when I go to iFunBox and click on raw file system, I don't have a folder that says library. Am I missing something?

Up on the top left of the screen does it say (jailed)???
If so you need to do a search in Cydia for afc2add.
It sounds as though ifunbox is not recognizing that you are jail broken. I had the same problem when I first jail broke. I installed that file and no problems using ifunbox since.

I have a 4S with the latest update OTA from Apple I think 7.0.3 whenever it was they sent tha tout. I'm a complete novice and reading through this thread is like ebonics and mandarin chinese mixed together. Is there a place or post that explain how to do this jailbreak step by step for idiots like myself?
Thanks
Thanks

You need to backup to iTunes first and do a restore on your computer
The OTA update isn't compatible with the JB for whatever reason

Go to the evasion7 website and follow the directions. It really is easy to do.
basically back up phone in itunes first. turn off passcode lock and you should be good to go

Found this on another site
quote:
Note: Again, this jailbreak is only compatible with compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4. That means it won’t work on the Apple TV or any devices running iOS 6.x. Also, you’ll want to make sure that you backup your device using iCloud or iTunes. And for those of you who have updated via OTA, you’ll want to back it up in iTunes and do a full restore before applying evasi0n7.
Step 1: Download evasi0n7 for Windows via our downloads page.
Step 2: Extract the download onto your desktop and open the evasi0n folder. Right click on the evasi0n.exe file and select Run as administrator. If a User Access Control window pops up, choose yes.
Step 3: Make sure your device passcode is disabled, if you ever set one up. To disable your passcode lock, go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock > and choose Turn Passcode Off.
Step 4: Plug in your iDevice to your PC.
Step 5: You should see a message on the tool that it has detected your device, and the Jailbreak button should become clickable.
Step 6: To begin the jailbreak process, click that button and sit back and let the app do its thing.
Step 7: Eventually, you’ll be asked to tap the evasi0n7 icon on your device’s Home screen, which will complete the process.
Step 8: Once the jailbreak process has completed, you’ll be taken to your Lock screen. From there, you can Slide to unlock your device and where you’ll find the Cydia icon on your Home screen’s second page.
And that’s all there is to it. The entire process takes around 5 minutes, and your device will reboot a few times. If the process gets stuck at any point, it’s safe to restart the program, reboot the device (if necessary by holding down Power and Home), and rerun the process.

HALPP! This morning when I tap email app, it blinks for a half second and that's it. When I open app manager (or whatever, double tap home screen, shows open apps) it shows the email app as open and the preview pane looks like the email template but blank. Does same for safari and weather but other apps are okay.
Googled around for a fix. Tried turning off mail accts, rebooting, hard reset, deleted appsync from cydia as one YouTube link suggested, deleted the only 2 thing that I downloaded from cydia yesterday evening. Nothing works so far.

I have a few apps that do that then finally decide to work. I could't narrow down what jailbreak was causing it so I just deal with it. If my email or something major didn't work I would flip.

I installed and set up another email client app Cloudmagic while I figure this out. That seems to be working okay.
The YouTube video I checked out had a range of suggestions. The first didn't work. The next was resetting all settings in the general menu and if that didn't work, using ifile to delete a few entries. Both of those seemed pretty drastic and there were a lot of pissed off comments saying it deleted everything, etc. I know people can be dumb when it comes to doing this stuff but it was still enough to give pause.

I guarantee if you uninstall "officer" they'll work. I was able to use my directv app after installing it but twitter wouldn't work. Uninstalled it and it started working again
Posted on 1/17/14 at 1:25 pm to RollTide MJ
I don't have that installed.

Fixed it finally! Had to use ifile to delete 2 things
