Holy shite how do you end a season like that?!
From the season 2 trailers I've seen, is Joe Carrol supposed to still be alive? Or is Emma just leading a new cult in his memory?
I really liked the 1st season after they got rid of some of the corny writing in the first few episodes, really looking forward to season 2.
I searched and couldn't find any threads on it so I decided to make another thread. What is the M/TV board's opinion on this show?

Lol, most of the board hates the show. I tried to keep up with it but it was just terrible.
Some on here like it though.

I started watching it when it first aired and stopped watching because the writing was very corny.
Saw it on Netflix and decided to give it another shot and after the first few episodes it got a lot better and I liked it. I remember seeing the threads while it was on but couldn't find them

They had a season long one going, but it basically turned into a thread just panning the show.
It'll probably get going again when the new season starts.

The best part of this show was the threads on here tearing it apart. Good times.

I just found a couple of threads on here and I guess I'm the only one that doesn't hate the show because its not realistic
Of course its ridiculous at times and of course the fbi is dumb except for the main character. That's how all shows are

It's stupid. It's not hard to get out of every situation when the writer's can just make a critical person a member of the cult.

it takes the shite 24 would do and multiplies by 100. "Tell the rest of the FBI to move away from the back door and close their eyes for 25 seconds so we can get away or the baby gets it!"

So Cap, when did you join Joe's cult? How did he lure you in? Did he promise you an 'n?

Good one

The show was terrible but the thread it inspired here was a hoot.

I watched season 1 and am pretty curious to see what happens. I'm under the impression that Emma leads the cult..

It's not exactly favorable. I was pretty excited for it when it started because I love James Purefoy (kept hoping he'd get end up with GoT). But I lost interest in it. It was just terribly predictable and as said, the writing just wasn't very good.
If you enjoy it though, I wouldn't worry about anyone else's opinion of it.

You should join our discussion group during the season. We really break down the finer points of the show and its impact on modern day culture.

It is very easy to nit pick a show when you get one episode a week. When you marathon a season it's hard to nit pick because you miss all little silly shite shows do.
This past season of SOA was the first one I watched live and it made me laugh at times.
