My 7 and 5 year olds sat still and quiet for 2.5 hours.
Will anxiously watch again tomorrow.

I haven't seen it yet, but the previews for the dvd release look so much better than the previews they showed during the theater release. anyone else notice that?

Yeah, I'm confused why this movie was universally panned by critics and I assume moviegoers.
I thought it was a solid flick. The only cheesy part was at the end which seemed to flounder a bit but other than that, it was a solid effort which my kids and I enjoyed.
I don't think Disney knows how to market a movie. Even John Carter wasn't that bad. Granted the trailers and previews make that movie and lone ranger look boring as hell. Even my daughter who did not want to see the lone ranger commented "dad, this movie was awesome. I thought it'd be boring from the trailer".
