The problem Texas is having is the same one they always have, too many cooks in the kitchen.

You have boosters who willingly give millions and expect to have free reign and input in the athletic dept = disaster for any coach.

IMO, This is why it will be difficult to hire a new coach and also why UT will not even go after an African American. Big donors call the shots, the others in the AD are simply pawns.

This whole UT ordeal reminds me of LSU pre-Emmert. There was always an iternal/external power struggle on deciding who to hire. Emmert came in a put a stop it. An institution needs very strong leaders that can keep the big money happy but also keep them at arms length.

The weaker leaders tend to give-in to the money and their decisions are influenced by it.

You are simply ignorant when it comes to the UT boosters. You have no clue who they have already contacted or you'd have never made this statement.

To be lectured on race by Bammers & Aggies is like being lectured on adultry by Bill Clinton.
