What are your guys favorite online checking account? I'm talking no fees, debit/ATM cards, easy ways to move money from my primary account to this one, etc. I want to use this account for my play money. Thanks in advance

What exactly are you looking for in an online checking account?
I use Capital One for my checking, and CapOne 360 for my online savings. It transfers money easily between the two. Capital One bank has no fees, debit/ATM card, reimburses me for ATM fees from other banks, etc. I see no reason for an online checking account. If I wanted to separate money, I'd just make a new account with one of them. Savings account earns 0.75% and my checking earns 0.4% (I think).
ETA: Only reason I could think of would be to hide money from SO/Joint Account Holder? I'm not sure if CapOne360 has online checking. ING had an online checking, so I assume CapOne kept it.

I've been with Schwab for over ten years and think they're great, and not just for checking.

I dont remember there being many requirements. I basically just use it as an extra debit card so I dont have to find a chase atm or pay a fee. they have a deposit app like chase.

My bank only allows remote deposit up to $5,000. It is annoying as hell. My expense reimbursement checks are usually from $4,000 - $10,000 a month.

Schwab has let me deposit several times in the $5-10K range by taking a picture of the check on my phone, this has never been a problem.
Plus, on the few occasions I've had to call them I get prompt service by a native English speaker who either knows what he/she is doing or takes the initiative to pass me on to someone who does without wasting time.

Will Schwab deposit personal checks over picture, or just business/paycheck type checks?

Girlfriend said they excellent customer service. She had an issue with Kenneth Cole charging her account multiple times, she contacted KC and they were no help, blamed it on CS, so the CS rep three-ways KC in, and tells them it wasn't the bank holding it up and that as soon as they reversed the charges, all would be well.

I routinely deposit personal checks on my phone this way.
