ETA:

I read NONE of the replies before preparing my answer and I am honestly surprised reading some of them.. I think Miles is a great recruiter but he is seriously lacking in literally every other coaching category. Almost every coach above is better than him at gameday coaching (clock management being a big factor), preparation, etc.. A lot of the success we've had under him can definitely be attributed to great coordinators and if you look at how the offense and defense has gone up and down according to who is coordinating them it is obvious. But, like I said, when it comes to recruiting he is the clear cut #2. If we could just move him to recruiting coordinator or something and get a good gameday coach we would be very well set IMO.

our offense has gone up and down with who the qb was, thats true at any school, and since Les calls all the plays, yes he was accused of that this season, he has had some of the most potent offenses in the history of LSU.

But hes such a shitty coach yet hes beat evey guy ahead of him. And no he didnt do it on talent alone, we are not the most talented in the country. let alone the sec.

Im going by results, and the results show that in recent history only Nick saban has won the same amount of sec titles and is th eonly coach to play for more bcs titles.

How is Les Miles not #2? Maybe if the other coaches hired better coordinators then they would have actually won the sec, but they didnt, so how can they be better than Les? What is saban known for? His defense rt? He snot calling the offensive plays, so does that mean hes a shittier coach than spurrier or sumlin? Nick had some shitty offenses at LSU, 02 was worse than anything Les has fielded.

Look at 02 for instance. Who was on our staff? Muschamp, and fisher. two guys that miles bashers want over miles, yet with an amazing staff around him and incredible nfl talent, he manages to lose to arkansas.

Think about bama thisyear, after they blow their load against LSu they come out flat against moo state and auburn. Yet Miles is the only coach that cant get his team up to play? bama should have wiped the floor with those 2 teams.
