If they were going to go with a young coach, James Franklin is only seven years older than Kingsbury and is a more proven commodity.

As head coach, it would be pretty stupid. I would love him as my offensive coordinator, but he's not taking steps back to do that.

If they want youth, Franklin should be their guy. He at least has a track record, and his comes at a tough place to win.
