As a kid...no. He was a roughneck and had no time to play any sports or watch them with me. We were very poor and he commuted to the marshes to work. I played baseball from Little League through college. He never saw me play ball. It didn't bother me.

But as he aged he took up golf and we had a wonderful time playing together until he died.
