I actually think USC was the best team that year. That D was just filthy. I realize I'm very biased, but I don't think 2003 USC beats Saban and LSU, especially in the dome.

2002 USC was on a roll, but they would have had to open with Miami, lets not forget how loaded that team was. I've always felt they would have beaten OSU if Mcghee didn't get hurt. I could see SC winning 2002, but no lock. 2004 they should have won easily and maybe 2008.

2006 would have been up in the air. In an 8 team playoff LSU has a real shot. Florida, USC and LSU ultimately were the best teams imo.

Forgot about USC in 2007. I agree, they'd have won. Not Georgia.
