OC'ing make your system run hotter

Yes, but that energy gets displaced slowly over time. You will be fine running 1hr of OCing and benching.

You you first OC and start benching your temps will become a little hotter, BUT they will hit a ceiling fast. The dangerous temps come from displacement of energy over an extended period of time. Yes your stock cooling will be loud, nasty and hot, but you won't reach dangerous thermal levels by just finding your max OC and running a bench.

Download HW Monitor to monitor temps. Since it saves the MAX Temp, Usage and Voltage Draw of every component in the system, there is no need to constantly check.

Already have it on here. During gaming without OC my CPU will hit 90c if I'm playing something demanding like Witcher 2.

ETA: Just ran another benchmark. CPU hit 81c and GPU hit 66c.
