You don't need to be on house arrest to wear an ankle monitor. Kid could be on probation for simple possession or something and his PO has probable cause to slap it on him. Or he could just have a curfew built into his probation and that's how the PO monitors it. Still not good news for a HS kid but geez you guys act like they let him out of OPP just to play in the game.

yep, he is a good kid - just a slight snafu, so monitor being used.
