I don't disagree that he is being overpaid. But he has probably paid for himself with the new excitement and revitalization he(and JFF) have brought to A&M.

I know at some level schools can afford to pay these coaching salaries but this is real money being thrown around to guys who haven't done it yet. It is one thing to get paid when you win a conference or national championship - it is desperate for schools to overpay guys who have done neither.

What revitalization? They're the 4th place team in their own division. Is it revitalization because they score a lot of points?
