So because Mack Brown hasn't had a press conference to announce that he is going to resign at a press conference, the rest of the nation is supposed to stick their head in the sand like a bama fan and ignore it?

Yes and more than a few that most folks consider as credible. What this means for Saban is up for debate but in any event, nothing will happen on a new coaching selection while MB is still the coach @ Texas. Once Mack is out things will move swiftly and IMO, will be off & running after tomorrow.
